Kim ROUND 4

Round 4 of TheOC-pageantOfDA : Vacation on Pirate Island.

So Kim went straight into the jungle for a bit of survival training, and because it reminded him so much of his home so he felt comforted by it.
Obviously he brought nothing with him as he didn't fully understand what a vacation was. He heard he didn't need to work or design an outfit so all he brought was the clothes on his back, even that didn't last long. As his kind are very similar to Lizards, they are cold blooded so he can survive quite comfortably in this climate.
His first task was a weapon, not to defend himself but to be able to cut a way through the undergrowth. So he got the best shaped rock for the occasion and broke it down until one edge was sharp enough to do the trick. He didn't take long at all before he took off hs shirt to rip it up, one sleeve became a belt for him to carry the rock machete. Half of the other sleeve was tied around is hand so it was a bit more comfortable to hold his weapon, and the other half helped tie the rest of the material around his other arm, with a bit of bark inside so it can be like a shield. Also ripping part of his pants in order to tie it around his knees as padding when he need to crawl through some areas. He also found a small opening with not too much undergrowth around and near a body of water, where he started a fire, charred the end of some sticks which he then used the side of his machete to carve into a point. He wanted a few because they pretty much broke after one use. He used them for a few things, using them as pencils (thanks to the charcoal) to mark down a map on a leaf. puncture hols into any food he found to drink from are if he wanted to save it for later he can string them onto his belt or just use the sticks as cutlery. He was able to back a more sturdy belt once he found some vines he could chop down and strung the map and a melon onto it. He also came across some large stems of bamboo, so he cut a segment of it down and punctured a hole into the top of it and put it into water to fill it up and carry it on his back with vines. As it was getting dark he decided to spend his first night up a tree as he hadn't found a cave to his liking, so went to get more vines to help him climb.
So this pic is at twilight and Kim just happy with being surrounded by nature.

I might need to read through that whole thing again and make sure it all makes sense. But for now I hope it's okay.
I took what I learnt from the last round and wrote a story about Kim's journey into the jungle in order to come up with how his outfit could develop and what tools he'd collect/ make.
