Round 2 of TheOC-pageantOfDA : An Inspirational Trip to the Past!

So Kim's 'world' as it were is very much styled like medieval times, so for him, this is actually like looking into where the future of his world could go. But on earth, this is 16th century England fashion, and I picked that for 2 reasons. 1 I thought it be fun to put him the time Shakespeare was seeing as he has that type of speech. And 2 for all it's similarities  saw, they are VERY contrasting.
Kim's people don't care much for 'fashion' but take armor very seriously, so this is the opposite where instead of building his physique up with metal, it's with the clothes.
Now in the 1600's clothing contained a lot of fine details and apparently there was a mini ice age so they also dressed in a lot of layers the combat that. So there was a lot of things that could be added to this outfit which was great fun to design.
He's dressed in what would have been worn by the wealthy and royalty, like a king, which is appropriate because his name in his world is King. And why he doesn't like the idea too much of being 'in charge' I told him he'd be reigning of a kingdom that had no war, and all he had to do is keep his people happy, which equally made him happy at the thought.
The colours are a mix of what his world would consider that of strength and wealth, and our world in that time. So black like the black chrome he wears on his armor and jewelry, with hints of gold which is pretty much the same across our worlds. and then the more royal blues and reds or our world.
He did have help from a 'friend' of his, Cassio, who's people were the crafts men and women of their world and created the clothing for the kingdoms, but Kim wanted to do most of the work, which he wasn't great at so there are little mistakes here and there with some stitching coming undone, and he even smudged the pattern around his heart because he wasn't to do his military salute in this outfit, he thought it was appropriate. While there is gold thread, the fine patterns were just drawn on, hence how it smudged, by Kim and has the symbols he wears within his formal outfit and his war armor. He also styled his hair as something a bit more suiting to the time.
