From recent deviations you may be able to tell I'm enjoying it
Looking at Damien Hirst and basing a collection on his work
Or a least getting ispiraton from his work

First part is just gathering research stuff, experimenting and what have you
Now it's starting to get onto the actual designing part
Well, I skipped past the homework a bit and started to design
Homework is to...um
I think I have to look at designers (which I may not do because I have no idea what I'm looking for)
And this elongation thing where you have to take a photo of someone from a magazine and cut it up so when you trace round it it's larger
Sounds kinda hard, doubt mine will go well

And I was going to do womens clothing (like the other 98% of the class) but remembered I can't really draw girls that well
As well as never really designing clothes for them
So I mays well stick to what I'm use to and design mens outfits
Ilike my ones so far
And you never know this could be a new character
However, his hair actually kinda reminds me of Alex (expecially the first one in [link] )so I may just make it a redesign of him, like, him now he is older
But I wont draw the purple hair in these flats
(for those who don't know Alex he is my model OC I made a few years ago)

So yeah... one of those times where I shall be wanting to do this homework tomorrow instead of leaving it untill really late
And looking forward to Monday

Was rather hard to do
But I had a lot of fun wandering round by myself
Got a few strange looks but I found it amusing

Well I drew him once just as a way to express my emotion at the time
However I think he's actually quite cute, and ended up sketching him again as I was doodling on Iscirbble
So I may make him a new character

Hollow Guy!




And believe this was NOT inspired by or is anyway related to Bleach
I came up with the idea because it best represented how I felt at the time
It's not untill I called him Hollow guy I realised it was kinda like Hollows in Bleach

He shows the feeling of emptiness
And how when you feel as though something is missing your heart becomes more vunerable to pain and feels more cold
I have the feeling a lot
And he really shows it well
My first thought was actually to make a sculpture of just a simplistic figure in white with a heart hanging in a hole
However because I am not someone who can do such a thing or have anything to do it with I drew my idea instead, before I forgot it

I may try make it sometime actually
I'd quite like to have him standing round in my room

Decided to finally make a journal about this
Well, started this Monday, did nothing on Monday and Tuesday lol, the started life drawing project today
Am yet to do any drawing because I had to take a nap XD

Yeah well so far I don't mind it
I've already written everyday about it on tumblr so I wont be going into too much detail here
Just that on the first day I spent an hour sitting by myself because I hadn't made any friends and my actual friends are both together in the same class. I felt rather unlucky
Today however I at least gave hanging out with people a shot, still didn't really try that whole, talking thing. Maybe I will be able to soon
I always come across really shy when people first meet me, which I am I guess. But get to know me and my crazyness comes out

So yeah, shall be getting to work on drwaing tonight which should be fun, then doing more life drawing in clss tomorrow I think...


In other news, Leeds festival is on
So I'm having to cope 6 days without Emma, not being able to get in contact with her during those days either
So that'll be interesting, seeing how I cope
Hopefully work will take my mind of her a bit, but so far during my nap I've just been dreaming about her a lot and waking up missing her already x3

Anyway I may nap fr a bit longer untill I get up to do some work
